The Dominique Clancey Memorial Scholarship
  Dominique Clancey
This scholarship has been established in memory of Dominique Clancey who tragically lost her life aged just 27.
Dominique was a wonderfully passionate and gifted performer who began her career at age 3 with ballet, tap, jazz and highland dancing classes.  Spending much of her childhood performing in eisteddfods, school musicals and dancing recitals, she later entered the professional industry appearing in numerous high profile TV Commercials, "A Country Practice" and the feature film "Talk".  As well as performing, Dominique managed to squeeze in a degree in Medicine at The University Of Sydney and chose to work as a doctor in The Adolescent Medicine Unit at Westmead Hospital.
The scholarship will be awarded by the Studio Directors to a student who they feel brings to the Junior Musical Theatre Classes the qualities that Dominique displayed - endless enthusiasm, imagination, creativity and commitment.  The Dominique Clancey Memorial Scholarship recipient will be given the opportunity to participate in our Junior Musical Theatre Classes for one year at no cost.
Given her love and passion for the arts and her desire to work with children, we feel that this scholarship is a great way to honour Dominique's memory.

The Performance Studio Achievement Award
The Studio Directors and Core Tutors present the Performance Studio Achievement Award annually to a student that they feel has shown significant improvement throughout the year. It is not based on talent, but rather an award that recognises someone, who through dedication, perseverance and hard work, has grown - both as an individual and as a performer. Dedication and hard work are important qualities for any performer in today's competitive industry, and this award recognises these qualities.
This award has been generously donated by Paul & Jennifer Leone.
